Reliance Spot Exchange (RSX) is a new initiative of Reliance Capital in the exchange space by setting up modern exchanges, in various segments.

The first exchange was launched in the month of October 2009 with the focus on creating a unique value added proposition in the existing financial value chain.

The Indian Spot Market is currently fragmented, highly local-centric and hampered by multiple regulatory jurisdictions. RSX aims to bring together the regional spot markets on a national level, through a single electronic marketplace thereby creating transparency, efficiency and infrastructure for spot markets across India.

RSX will provide an electronic platform for conducting Spot Trading / Forward & Reverse Auctions in Agriculture & Metal commodities.
