Namit Kumar, 30, is the Branch Service Manager of the Lucknow branch of Reliance Life Insurance. His responsibilities include conducting audits, risk investigations, verification of financial bills. He also has to ensure a smooth workflow of operations such as new business, customer service, etc.

Namit joined Reliance Life Insurance in August 2006 at Aligarh as Customer Care Executive, Operations. Within a year, he became the Assistant Branch Service Manager.

Namit says of this role, “The new assignment came along with added responsibilities of handling branches in area of Operations. Having a Master’s degree in Personnel Management helped me to carry out my work more efficiently and professionally. The faith, which the company had in me was reciprocated with full commitment and dedication. With the enormity of task and responsibilities that is expected from you by the company, one should always remember that by sheer hard work and sincerity one can still drive to enterprise goal fulfillment as well as personal satisfaction.”

He adds, “Apart from busy schedule I made a point to devote my time with my family and also engage myself in sports activity like swimming and cricket regularly. What excites me in Reliance family is that within a span of 3 years I have been given two promotions, thereby shattering all pre conceived notions that growth in Operations is rare. To progress in professional and personal life one should always remember to keep on taking the challenges as they come sportingly and always opt for the path normally not taken by others.”
