Rahul, 37, is the business head, car loans of Reliance Consumer Finance, a subsidiary of Reliance Capital. Based out of Delhi, Rahul has taken up this role in May 2009. Rahul says that, "trying to build up this country-wide business in a profitable manner is extremely exciting and challenging". He was earlier the Zonal Head for all Retail Assets for North and East India, having joined Reliance Capital in September 2008..

Rahul has done his MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai in 1996. Prior to Reliance, Rahul had worked with ICICI Bank for nine years.

Rahul likes reading books-both fiction and non-fiction. The last good books read were "The Halo effect" by Phil Rosenweig and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" by Stieg larsson. I am also very fond of taking care of the fish in my aquarium.
